Occasionally we may make an overpayment that we need to recover from you. In these circumstances, we make all firm, fair and reasonable efforts to recover the overpayment. You will find further information in our Recoveries Policy. The main reasons for an overpayment arising are:

  • Late notification of withdrawal/non-attendance of student
  • Change of circumstance
  • Error
  • Inaccurate or incomplete information provided with an application for support
  • Required information not being provided for goods or services that have been purchased from an allowance or award e.g. receipts for DSA
